Lifetime Plus Fully Transferable Guarantee
Florida Window and door warrants to the original purchaser that its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the Lifetime of the product from the date of installation and when maintenance instructions are followed. This warranty applies to the products under normal use subject to conditions herein, and as determined by Florida Window and Door in its sole discretion. This warranty does not cover damages attributable to inade3quate maintenance, improper product or aftermarket product modifications, normal weathering, highly corrosive environments, damage caused by fire, flood, accident, acts of god, hurricanes, water intrusion by wind driven rain as a result of high winds vandalism, building settlement or structure failure or other occurrences beyond Florida Window and Door control.
makes no representation, warranty or guarantee express or implied, as to the performance of our products in a tropical storm or hurricane. All products were tested to in accordance with the protocols required by your local municipalities. However, certain conditions may exist during a tropical storm, hurricane or tornado that exceeds the local requirements.
Florida Window and Door’s liability under this warranty is limited to material cost replacement only. Labor costs are not included under this warranty. Decisions as to repair, replacement or change of product will be determined by Florida Window and Door at its sole discretion. Replacement parts provided will be the closest equivalent product available at the time and Florida Window and Door reserves the right to exchange replacement parts at its sole discretion.
Registration of Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to the original customer of Florida Window and Door as well as the first successive owner of the property at the address listed in the original work order. The guarantee period will begin when the product is delivered to the address listed on the work order. The owner must complete a Florida Window and Door Warranty registration within 60 days of the product being delivered to the job site of the warranty is void. In the event the warranty is transferred to a new owner, the new owner must submit a warranty registration application and application fee to Florida Window and Door within 60 days of the title being transferred.
Intruder Protection
Florida Window and Door warrants that for a period of ten (10) years following delivery, that Florida Window and Door will reimburse the original homeowner for property loss arising out of a burglary due to entry thru a locked pane of glass which has been cracked or broken by an intruder up to the maximum of the owners insurance deductible (not to exceed $1,000.00 US dollars). To file a claim owner must submit a copy of the original purchase order, the police report, the insurance policy, loss claim notice and pictures of the broken window or door within 30 days of the burglary.
Intruder protection is only applicable to our impact product line and excludes all other products.
